Here at the College we always suggest for you to have at least one printed out copy of your training plan. Stick it on your fridge, on your desk, even the shower door!
These training plans can help you stay on track with your course, allowing you to have a visual of your course outline and where your theory, workshops, and placement fit into the sequence.
Your training plan also predicts dates of when you should be starting and finishing each unit so you can ensure you will have the required work completed by your completion date. We send through your training plan at the time of your enrolment in the hopes that this will help you set up a study schedule.
Focus on each question at a time and what the assessment is asking of you, then do your research around that question. As each topic and its research can be quite broad, ensure that you always narrow your search down to what the question is asking you.
If you feel as though you are struggling, why not check out our Facebook forum? On our forum, we don't allow direct assessment content to be posted but always allow students to post their own study tips and tricks. Some students like to use flashcards to help, some listen to podcasts and others watch T.V shows. Create a post in our forum to see what has worked for other students, then you can work out which one may work for you.
Keep in mind our Trainers here at the College are always more than happy to help! If you would like to speak to our Trainers about your assessment content, feel free to book an appointment via your Moodle portal. Our Trainers are available for calls Monday to Friday, from 7:30 am to 4:30 pm QLD time. If these hours don't work around your schedule, you can also email them directly at trainer@apcollege.edu.au and we will ensure that you have a response within 1 business day.
Please remember that the Student Success Team is also here to support you. We want to help get you the support you need to help with your studies. If you would like to contact the Student Success Team directly, you can either call through to 0755 202 522 (option 1) or email support@apcollege.edu.au. They are available from 8 am-4 pm Monday to Friday QLD time.
